About the event
The Mays Centre Summer Music Camp provides a fun, engaging, and enriching experience for students ages 5–11 who are interested in music, creativity, and performance. Designed to create a positive and age-appropriate environment, the camp combines structured music instruction with interactive activities that keep students energized, confident, and excited to learn each day.
Throughout the program, students will participate in vocal training, song learning, creative movement, and performance-based activities that encourage self-expression and teamwork. Camp sessions are intentionally designed to balance education, entertainment, and social interaction, helping students build confidence while developing foundational music and stage performance skills.
Each camp day begins with interactive warm-ups, vocal games, and music-based icebreakers that help students feel comfortable and engaged. Campers will then participate in group music instruction focused on vocal development, rhythm, musical fundamentals, and collaborative learning in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
